# How do I change the group of a completed run?

You can change the group assigned to a completed run using the API. This feature doesn't appear in the web UI. To update the group, use the following code:

```python theme={null}
import wandb

api = wandb.Api()
run = api.run("<ENTITY>/<PROJECT>/<RUN_ID>")
run.group = "NEW-GROUP-NAME"
run.update()
```
