W&B emits info-level log messages by default, which can clutter notebook output. This page describes two ways to reduce or silence those messages: adjust the Python logger level, or use a W&B environment variable. To suppress log messages in your notebook such as this:
Set the log level to logging.ERROR to show only errors, which suppresses info-level log output.
Alternatively, use a W&B environment variable to control log verbosity:
  • To reduce log output, set the WANDB_QUIET environment variable to True.
  • To turn off log output completely, set the WANDB_SILENT environment variable to True.
In a notebook, set WANDB_QUIET or WANDB_SILENT before you run wandb.login:
